22. AIR DROPS - EPNot a lot of information about the identity of this one. Simply a bedroom performer. Not just any bedroom performer though. There are hundreds of those. Instead Air Drops soothes you in the same way that a bottle of eye drops soothes your allergy. This is icy electronic pop at its best.
Now, this blog is definitely not one to jump on the anti-chillwave bandwagon. Nor are we all about promoting this bracketed genre that will blow over as more of a fad than anything else. Instead there is enough on this little EP to stand up on its own. Enough to take the melodies of Royksopp, the playful production of Neon Indian and the range of Baths to create a promising start to a curious discovery.
Let's hope this work gets enough recognition all over the interweb to let the project kick on and bring more wintry delights to a stunning sketch that just needs the watercolours applying next time.
