Nutshell

I start a new job tomorrow for the fostering and adoption team at the local council and I'll be a receptionist again. I got to quit Comet and the Product Replacement Services. I am pumping ironand running a lot. Starting to write a bit again. I asked a girl I fancy out in an email and got home and listened to the new Four Tet. Reading Kerouac's The Dharma Bums. That's me in a nutshell at the moment.

A Day

A day in which I feel I'll remember forever. I told my Mum that when I party into oblivion I feel suicidal and opening up like that felt liberating, empowering and right. We went on a walk with the dog and later my football team Leeds created more history in the cup. I slept well and woke up rejuvenated. I have never been so honest about what I need to do and getting a letter in the post asking me to make an appointment with a doctor because I was actually honest for once in an alcoholic-units-per-week survey didn't feel bad.

Ketchup Dream

I had a dream that I stole some tomato ketchup from someone's garage and squeezed it all over his white T-Shirt when he came to catch me. I had a squeezy bottle, but bizarrely he was equipped with one of those glass ones where you have to pat the bottom to really force out the sauce. We had a ketchup fight and then he got me in a headlock and with the other arm patted the bottle so my blonde hair went red.

Cut to the next scene and I have a postal confirmation that my hearing in court is not going to happen, but that I have a year in prison instead. I have so many thoughts that rush through my head, mainly the fact that I want to go abroad to work in May, but now that this can't happen because I'll be in jail. I seek some legal advice, and Russell Armstrong, a guy from school I haven't really seen in years, save play indoor football with a couple of times, is in a white room with me and tells me it'll be alright because I will only have to serve half the sentence. I start crying and tell him that I won't be able to see Jono in Asia now in May. One of the worst nightmares I've ever had.
